PLC

Programmable logic controllers are the deterministic industrial cousins of microcontrollers. A PLC scans inputs, evaluates a control program in a fixed cycle, and drives outputs to actuators on the plant floor. The operator meets PLCs on OT and ICS targets where Allen-Bradley, Siemens S7, Schneider Modicon, Mitsubishi, and Omron run the line.
